Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

To get quotes, share six details: gender, birth date, your health in simple terms, whether you use tobacco, how much coverage you want, and the term length. That's all—no name, contact info, or medical records needed until you're ready to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

The quotes reflect rates for the health category you selected. Your actual premium gets set by the carrier's underwriting, which may confirm, raise, or lower your class. These prices are estimates only and are not guaranteed or a promise of coverage.

What happens when I click Apply?

Once you choose a carrier, you enter your name, and we build an application using the exact answers you provided here. From there you move to the carrier's application portal, which you can pause and resume. You sign electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), handles the whole process.

Will I need a medical exam?

That depends on your age, the coverage amount, and your health answers. Some carriers offer accelerated underwriting for qualified applicants and skip the exam; others may require one. Each quote we show tells you whether an exam is expected, possible, or not needed for that product.

Is a longer term better?

Pick a term that covers your biggest financial needs: a home loan, supporting children, a business debt. Longer terms cost more monthly but hold the rate steady. Our tool lets you try 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 years and see the difference side by side.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The quoting tool never asks for contact information. We don't sell, share, or resell visitor data. Measurement on this site is cookieless. For the full accounting of what we collect and who sees it, visit the privacy page.
